This one had a lot of moving parts - and that's exactly the kind of build we enjoy. The goal was a fence system that actually secures a large rural property without looking clunky or thrown together. What we put together combines wood posts and rails, non-climb wire, black caps on every post, and a custom double gate at the main entry. Each piece of this system was chosen for a reason.
Non-climb wire is one of those materials that doesn't get enough credit. It's tough, it keeps animals and unwanted guests contained, and it holds its shape over time. Paired with solid wood posts and a clean top rail, you get a fence line that looks intentional - not just functional. The black caps on the posts are a small detail, but they protect the wood from moisture and tie the whole look together with the gate hardware.
The custom double gate at the entry is the centerpiece of this setup. It's built with a mix of horizontal rails and vertical pickets topped with a decorative header - a design that carries real visual weight while still letting you see through it. Gates like this do double duty: they control access and they set the tone for the whole property the second someone pulls up.
This is the kind of fence installation that works for a lot of different situations - rural acreage, livestock properties, hobby farms, or just a large home lot where you want defined boundaries and a secure entry. We handle the full scope on builds like this, from setting the posts to hanging the gate hardware and making sure everything is plumb and square before we leave.
